Ferdinando I Restaurant

This is a historical and unique place inside a Renaissance-era portico. Today, it is completely renovated. The large windows overlooking the Val d’Orcia divide the spaces and open to natural light or the enchantment of the night landscape. It is like a refined orangery, with Viennese straw chandeliers, antique chairs, and blush armchairs. Here, for dinner, you can enjoy a simply magnificent menu, which combines traditional Tuscan dishes the creativity of our chefs, all paired with an extraordinary wine list.

From the hotel to the spa: a passage like a dream

The underground corridor that leads from the hotel to the spa has changed its look as well. Today, it has become a dreamlike pathway from darkness to light, through silence, time and history. The colour that surrounds you absorbs the light, leaving behind only a warm, restful hue. You can see illuminated ochre nooks in the wall, where one colour stands out: it is the white of the Ancient Roman marble that was rediscovered during construction, the marble used in the most ancient thermal baths, and which is a tangible testament of millennia of water culture. At the end of the path, the soft light of the spa shines through, and, one step at a time, you can feel the warmth of the thermal water in the air, a promise of wellness and harmony.
